Grandma's Fruit Cobbler

1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
½ t. salt
4 t. butter

Melt butter in baking dish. Mix other ingredients together and pour into pan. Place fresh (or canned) fruit on top. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
