2 cans black beans-rinsed and drained
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup salsa verde-my favorite is Trader Joe's, but any will do!
1 tsp cumin
dash cayenne pepper-or more if you like it spicy!
Toppings:
fresh chopped cilantro
chopped avocado
plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
Puree beans with broth. Put in a stock pot and add salsa and seasonings. Heat until very hot!
Serve with toppings!
