Simple but absolutely delicious! Perhaps my favorite non-chocolate dessert!!
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
2/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350F and spray 8x8 glass pan with Pam.
Beat butter and brown sugar together for 1 minute.
Add egg, salt, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
Add flour and mix until just incorporated.
Stir in chopped pecans.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
