Mix together:
2 eggs well beaten
2 c. sugar
½ c. canola oil
Blend in
2 c. flour
2 t. cinnamon
1 ½ t. baking soda
1 t. salt
Add:
2 c. coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
4 c. peeled and sliced apples
Bake in 9x13 inch pan at 350 for 50 minutes
Caramel sauce:
½ c. butter
1 T. flour
½ c. brown sugar
½ c. white sugar
½ c. evaporated milk
1 t. vanilla
Bring to boil for 1-2 minutes stirring constantly. Serve with good vanilla ice cream!
