Tortilla Soup

1 onion-chopped
3 cloves garlic-chopped
1 T. olive oil
2 t. chili powder
1 t. cumin
1 lg can crushed tomatoes
6 c. vegetable broth
1 lg. can hominy-drained
1 7 oz. can chopped green chilis
1 can black beans-rinsed and drained

Saute onions and garlic in oil. Add remaining ingredients. Add chopped cooked chicken or pork the end along with ½ c. chopped cilantro.

Top with:
Sliced avocados
Tortilla strips
Queso fresco
