1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup butter
3 cups milk
4 cups cheese (A mixture is best)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 lb. macaroni (cooked)
1 cup bread crumbs
Over medium heat whisk together flour and butter. After it has turned into a creamy paste, turn up the heat and slowly whisk in the milk. (If lumps form keep whisking the mixture until smooth.) Once you have a smooth base add the cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Toss the cooked macaroni with the cheese mixture, pour into a 9x13 and top with bread crumbs.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
