Grandma's Brown Bag Caramel Corn

1 c. brown sugar
½ c. butter
¼ c. Karo syrup
½ tsp. salt


Combine above ingredients and bring to boil. Boil for 60 seconds and remove from heat. Add ½ tsp soda and 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir until it becomes frothy. Pour over ½ brown grocery bag full of popped corn. Shake. Microwave for 1 minutes. Shake. Repeat for 1 minute. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
