Bow Tie Pasta with Garlic Cream Sauce

You can omit the chicken and make this a vegetarian meal. It's simple to put together, but to save even more time pick up a roasted chicken in the deli to use for the diced chicken!


2 c. diced chicken
2 T. olive oil
2 cloves garlic-crushed

In lg. skillet, sauté chicken in oil and garlic until golden brown. Set aside.

1 pkg. bow tie pasta-cooked

Sauce:
¼ c. olive oil
4-6 cloves garlic-minced
¼ t. red pepper flakes
1 lg. can crushed tomatoes in puree
1 c. cream

Saute garlic in oil until soft. Add puree and other seasonings. Simmer uncovered about 15 min. until thickened. Add cream and heat for 1 min. Salt and pepper to taste. Toss with pasta and chicken and serve with parmesan cheese.
