1 cup whole wheat flour
1 2/3 cup white flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
4 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups coarsely chopped apples
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Crumble Topping:
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup brown sugar
4 T. softened butter
2 tsp. cinnamon
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and oil and yogurt.
Beat in eggs and vanilla, then stir in chopped apples, and nuts.
Add the dry ingredients and mix until well blended.
Grease 2 9x5-inch loaf pans. Pour batter into pans,
smoothing the top with a spatula or spoon.
Sprinkle with crumble topping.
Bake for 60 minutes at 350°or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on racks..
